 Don't need my orthotics anymore!!! January 31, 2010

I'm so grateful for these shoes. Our podiatrist recommended Keens for our 4 year old daughter who has flat feet, so we thought we would all get a pair. I also have flat feet and wear very expensive orthitics to help with plantar fascitis and heel spurs and shocking tightness in my archilies tendons. I can't believe that wearing these shoes provides me with better support than my runners with orthotics in them!!! I don't get any pain anymore and I haven't been wearing orthotics-the arch support and general contour of the shoe provide your foot with a tremendous level of support. The only downfall, and not one big enough to stop me wearing them, is that they do make my feet sweat a lot and consequently stink!!! The sole does say something about anti-odour, but this doesn't work for me. Overall a really fantastic shoe, I am only buying and wearing Keens from now on

I ordered these shoes from Zappos, took them out of the box and tried them on my daughter. They were a full size smaller than marked and they had a tire-like smell, so I put them back in the box to return and put the box on her shelf. The next day, her whole room had this horrible smell, almost like tire/urine. It was in the rest of the house too, just not as strong. I picked up the shoe and smelled it and almost got sick. The shoes have a very strong rubber tire smell that literally made me nauseated and gave me a headache. I returned them and had another pair shipped - same problem. I was told maybe it was a bad batch, so I returned them and ordered some from Keen - same problem. Gross. I'll never buy another pair of Keens again. They are made in China and we all know how reliable they are for good quality - not! I'm putting this review on Amazon because I did a one star review for Zappos and they won't post it. I guess they only post the good ones. If you're the kind of person who is sensitive to that smell (like I avoid the Sears tire center like the plague), don't order these!

I will not buy another one, because I don't want see my baby crying, because has fall. This shoes sole is not to all surface when wet, so why is H2 water shoes??? Be alert!!!

Once I put these on I fleet it was like they were already broken in. The comfort was amazing. A bit on the high cost side for and sandal, but so worth the money. I wear them all the time. I would hightly recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable sandle. I even purchashed a pair for my mother who has foot problems and they worked our wonderful. I like the comfort so much I even bought a pair of KEEN hiking boots.

Comfortable, sturdy, weather-proof, can walk all day in these in all terrains without any skin irritation or sore feet. Can't say enough about how pleased I am, especially after looking forever for this type of shoe. Product info suggests to order a size up, however my size 8 fits like a glove. Color me Cinderella!
